NBA's Future Stars

Image result for anthony davisIf you are a fan of the NBA, you know LeBron James and Kevin Durant. They are arguably the best players in the world today. There are some stand out players in today's NBA that will eventually de-thrown LeBron and Durant as the best players in the league. Guys from small market teams like Indiana, Detroit, Utah and Orlando have been getting a lot of attention these days and could be the best in the league someday. By the year 2021, the NBA will look a lot different then it does today. I have an idea who the top 10 players are in the league in 2021.
Number 10 is Russell Westbrook. He just won his first MVP last season and I don't see him stopping anytime soon. Russell will have four more years worth of motivation to beat everyone on this list. He is a stat book stuffer and Opponents won't know what to do with him. He is one of the most stubborn forces on the court. Number nine is Joel Embiid. Embiid is a franchise-altering talent that is only in his second season as of today, so by 2021 he should be even more dominant then he is already. He would be higher on this list he isn't injury prone. Embiid checks off all the boxes a team needs in a big man. He blocks shots and plays the low and high posts extremely well. If he can get over his injury bug, he will be the league's top talent in four years. Number eight is Kyrie Irving. Finally out of LeBron's shadow this season, Kyrie looks to become "The Guy" for the Celtics. Assuming Kyrie is buying what Brad Stevens is selling, he will for sure be in the top 10 NBA players. in 2021, Kyrie will be in his prime years and could be the best point guard in the league. He's a top 10 talent now and I don't see him leaving that ranking in four years. Number 7 is LeBron James. LeBron may be 36 in 2021, but no one can stop LeBron. He is a once in a generation type player, possibly the best of all time, and he has made adjustments his whole career. I don't see him not making adjustments to his play so he can still be dominant in 2021. Number six is Kawhi Leonard. Kawhi is a lockdown player. He is great defensively and has improved offensively over the years. He's a quiet guy, so the media doesn't like to follow him, but he is a top talent now and will be in the future. Number five is Kevin Durant. Durant will be 33 in 2021, which is the same age as Lebron this season. LeBron is still an MVP caliber player at that age and so will Durant. Being on the Warriors will allow him to always be fresh and that will allow him to play more seasons. Four is Kristaps Porzingis. Porzingis is a 7'3 shooter who can stretch out anywhere. He's 22 now and he's a force, so I can't even imagine what he will be like in his prime. Number three is Karl-Anthony Towns. Towns will be only 25 in 2021 and he is already putting up big numbers at 21 years old. I see bright things in his future. Number 2 is Giannis Antetokounmpo. Kobe Brant said he thinks Giannis can win MVP this year so just imagine what he is capable of in 2021. Number one is the Brow, Anthony Davis. Davis is the future of this league is already the best power forward in the league and will be in his prime during the 2021 season. If he ends up with a better team by then, he'll be an MVP type player.
